anyone here fingerstyle-ed this ray charles tune?

Im trying to fingerstyly arrange the tune "hallelujah i love her so", ray charles performance. Ive got every part of the tune, except for the intro piano part. This is concerning the first 2 measures (well 4 when he repeats it)

ray charles plays this riff, that i just cant seem to break up and figure out...

the tune is in the key of F, ive transposed it up a M3 to A for ease of play on the guitar.

 

the chords of the intro following the riff in the recording go:

transposed looks like:

Not sure exactly what you're asking? In F, I think the piano intro would be:

| F/C | Dm | F/C | G7/D |

In A:

| A/E | F#m | A/E | B7/F# |

No clue...but I did score a Ray Charles reel to reel of "Modern Sounds in Country & Western Music" on the side of the road. Sounds too sweet.

what i meant is the little 2 chord riff at the beginning of the tune that ray charles does on piano, sounds like a truncated version of the melody to "mama told me there'd be days like this"

Sorry I'm being so dense -- are you asking for the chords or do you want to play the melody and chords on guitar? Do the chords I suggested sound right or close?
