Well, I got one Behringer that I never got to try out, it's hard to clone a $200 product for 30 bucks, I got one of their AD121s (clone of Tech 21 para DI) , put the battery in and the battery connector snapped, oh well, their more expensive stuff is better, but this looked junky, though I have read it sounds great, I hate all of these new acoustic effects with 50 presets, like the new Zoom stuff, can't sound natural, wanted to hear what the blend did on the AD121

Did you get it replaced?

Hey Jim,

I don't have any Behringer stuff, but I have had a Zoom 505 pedal. Sounded like crap. It has lots of nice effects in it but it is so noisy it hurts your ears. I couldn't isolate and reduce the noise no matter what I tried.

Terry,
I decided to opt for a refund, it just doesn't look like it's made well. I have a Behringer preamp that works well, but doesn't give alot of boost and is more electric sounding. Might go for a 6 band MXR EQ, or I just found out about a Hartke acoustic preamp that has para EQ and the tube emulation

The Berhinger stuff is what it is, Cheap gear. I've bought alot of it, mainly because I haven't had alot of money.
It's all served it's purpose, some of it better that others, but I'm not sorry I bought it...

What blackwatch said.

I've found that most of their stuff works ok. And if it doesn't work it doesn't work from the start so you can send it back. One 802 mixer I got didn't work out of the box but the replacement is still working fine 2 yrs later.

I still have one of their $20 preamps (PB100) that works fine and would like to have another.

I have a Behringer mixer that I bought several years ago and it has survived all the crap I put it through. Tons of gigs. I'm very impressed at the durability of it.

d28andm1911a1: That's a serious name you got there! Care to enlighten me so as to its meaning? I think the D28 means you have a D28 and, hmm, you were born in 1911? ;)

I can think of two apt responses to your post, d28andm1911a1

(A) Well, I guess you know how to keep hecklers in the audience to a minimum!

or

(B) Are you also a fan of the late/great Warren Zevon?

Yep, after you shoot the first one the rest shut up.
and
Yep, but I'm not much in to the lawyers part. I just want the guns and money. :)
