Clip. $100 acoustic guitar and ecpensive strings.

The guitar used to was the cheapest Fender acoustic on the market. I was tuning it for a freind in work (Her daughter is learning)

 

So I put some slinkyish Martin strings on it because I did not want to put anything too hard for her to learn with.

 

The guitar is warped to all hell but it didnt hurt the playing of it at all.

 

And the butterfly stickers on it helped the tone.

 

The acoustic is the main mellow part at the end. There is an electric clean behind it too but that is about 30% of the sound.

Sounds great man. Were you using any effects ontop of the acoustic sounds?

It's amazing how it doesn't take a very expensive guitar to work in a mix like that. In fact, a top of the line Martin / Taylor / Collings would have probably sounded too ethereal and out of place.
