Members Culls Posted October 27, 2006 Members Posted October 27, 2006 Hi i was merrily googling "as you do" and came across this site. There are only twoguitars worth buying the first is a Maton and so is the second, I have a 30 year old bg 808 and through years of abuse the sound is still awesome. Tommy Emanuel is a great ambassador for them. There are so many great acoustic guitarist that it may be an idea to name one and a sourceMine is Bert Jansch and a difinitive album would be Rosemary Lane. and his version of Davy Grahams, Angie is right up there.Looking forward to other saucies!Bryan

So you know the Half Moon, Bricklayers Arms, Green Man?I lived in Putney from 1963-1983 in Earldom Road off Clarendon Drive. I don't know if you remember Sam Mitchell who sadly died recently? A great blues guitarist who I used to have pinball competitions with in the Bricklayers-our local.
