Goodness GRACIOUS did you guys look at that website? If you click on "music instruments" and then "guitar" you get a TON of pictures clearly taken from ebay and like websites. Guitars are advertised as "Gibson" and very clearly (even to the not-guitar-player just reading the headstock) are not Gibson at all.

 

Good for a laugh.

my buddy bought a Les Paul clone for $9.95...then he saw the $295 shipping charge. He got stuck. It turned out to be a really nice axe, not the one pictured in the auction or for the price advertised, but a nice git.

I saw a 'Gibson Les Paul Custom' on eBay this morning - currently at about $1400.00. Obvious fake - they mispelled Custom on the truss rod cover 'Costom' and the Gibson logo on the headstock runs into the binding...

 

I wonder how long it will be before we start seeing fake Martins and Taylors pouring out of China - if they already aren't...
