Members Jack is Awesome Posted November 16, 2006 Members Posted November 16, 2006 So, i've been given the opportunity to buy an AER Compact 60 at a pretty cheap price, only thing is that it's missing the front foam cover (So you can directly see the amp). I was wondering, would this have any affect on the amp? Eg sound wise, also, would it have been something thats been pulled off, or did they used to make them without the cover? Also, i've noticed that it's the AER Compact 60, not the Compact 60/2. What do people here think of the difference between the two? Is their any? Finally, if you look at the pictures, the backing of it is different from other AER Compact 60s i've seen, does this just mean its an older model? (Thus maybe the lack of no foam front). Here are the pics: Front : http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/9229/30411757fullmq0.jpgBack : http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/7491/30411774fullqr0.jpg Thanks for any replies.
Members bbrunskill Posted November 16, 2006 Members Posted November 16, 2006 Buy it my son! Thats a great amp, and the front cover is purely cosmetic.
