Members alfonso Posted November 23, 2006 Members Posted November 23, 2006 I had the chance to try it and I was stumbled by playability and equilibrium of sound in unplugged conditions. Didn't try it plugged in yet, but I've heard the perfect sound for a vintage large diaphragm I own...I'll probably fall victim of the GAS...does anyone know it? what do you think? other suggestions? http://www.taylorguitars.com/guitars/model.aspx?model=NS74-CE

Members Sweb Posted November 24, 2006 Members Posted November 24, 2006 I had a chance to play the NS34CE at Sam Ash and was very impressed with it. The NS series have adjustable truss rods which is a great feature and a long time coming for a classical style guitar. My Yamaha would be easily more playable if it had one. I think Taylor really put some thought into this series. I will be looking soon for a new classical and this is where I think I'll end up. The enlarged (16 inch wide lower bout at 4-5/8 depth) body size under a classical guitar braced soundboard really makes it sing. Nice choice.
Members alfonso Posted November 24, 2006 Author Members Posted November 24, 2006 I got it! I got it! I got it! I got it! I got it! I got it! I got it! :D :D Also the plugged sound is really great. I had found the acoustic sound really good in the dampened room of the shop, but I tried it in a normal room at my home and I must say I'm struggling to relocate my jaw...I have to go now...
