Members aromer1 Posted November 29, 2006 Members Posted November 29, 2006 1974 Guild D25M guitar for sale. She has some dings on the body and one at the top of the headstock. She also has some minor checking on the finish. Overall, the playablilty is awesome. Action is great. Comes with velour lined paded gig bag by USA Case. I would not sell this guitar if I did not have chemotherapy induced neuropathy which inhibits me from playing guitar. I have owned this axe since 1990. She has travelled all over the country with me as my travelling guitar. I am asking $750.00 for this near vintage piece. I will not subject her to any kind of shipping, as I used to work for UPS and saw EXACTLY what they do with guitars. Other shippers are worse than UPS, in my humble opinion. I live near Chicago. If you want to view and play her, send me an email. I usually am at home unless I go to cancer support group meetings or exercise.

Members aromer1 Posted December 7, 2006 Author Members Posted December 7, 2006 Thank you, ManfromAlabam! I love this guitar, but I need to play music and I've found it again in the Native American flute. While going to cancer support I found they had a flute circle and tried it out and.....WOW! I don't need to exert the pressure needed to press a guitar string and you don't need the dexterity, either. I guess once you play music, other instruments are easier to pick up. I only have to buy a flute in every key, now. LOL As far as my health, thanks for the well wishes, there, as well. I'm not sure which is worse, though. Cancer or the treatments for it seem to be equally detrimental to long life. I will fight this with all my strength and show all these doctors there is survivorship even if their poisons don't work. Happy Holidays, all!
