Members g6120 Posted December 7, 2006 Members Posted December 7, 2006 I created a web page for my YouTube Neil Young Covers playlist featuring 45 music videos of me performing Neil Young songs solo acoustic. Some are good and some not so. The YouTubers are giving most of them very high ratings and good comments.I also increased the video window size. Check it out: g6120's Neil Young Covers

Check it out:g6120's Neil Young Covers I will check this out as soon as I have time! I hate to step on your thread, but I gotta tell a quick story. About 8 years ago, I was tapped to play bass for a friend who liked to do "tribute" gigs...he had done an Elvis Costello one and a Replacements one where he and his band played an entire album by these artists as covers. Anyway, he waanted me to play bass in his Neil Young tribute...we did the entire "Tonight's the Night" album and then some bonus Neil at the end. So, the funny part is, the local weekly paper telling what all the concerts, exhibits, etc. were gonna be in town, goofed and the ad read "Neil Young lilve at The Deli" and whatever date it was. They left "tribute" out! Needless to say there were a lot of disappointed people jammed in the little venue that night. But I think we actually won them over.
Members g6120 Posted December 7, 2006 Author Members Posted December 7, 2006 What model is that guitar? I play a Martin HD28-VR and love the feel of the v shaped vintage neck. When I bought the guitar in 1997 I had no idea what I was buying. I played a bunch at the store and this one just felt right. Now I have learned that I have a pretty special guitar.
