Members Paul J. Edwards Posted December 9, 2006 Members Posted December 9, 2006 He is just a beginner and the Mom wants to spend between 200 to 300 bucks. What's the best deal. I think a low end Yamaha or Takamine would be best. Any opinions?

The point about large/small hands is a valid one. Nothing more frustrating than having a guitar that's hard to play.
