I think your guitar can refuse a urine test but it might have to spend the night in a holding tank. Holding tank without it's hardshell case and one phone call.

I bet the case is the culprit - probably just spent alot of time around smokers and absorbed the smell.

 

Could be worse ...

You better keep a close eye on your guitar. Pot is a "gateway" drug. Before you know it, your guitar may become a crackhead. You will come home one day from work to discover that your guitar pawned your other guitar gear to buy more rock.

Cost-cutting and alleged stability issues aside - a one-piece neck IS a terrible waste of wood, imho..:o
