Ellen = nervous

Hope it goes well! I think I'm going to take a two day fast from the forum and when I want to check it, I'll go play a bunch of scales or something.

Well I just got back. Sight reading was abominable, improvising was just okay (which is annoying because its an area of strength for me), and the interview was just okay. The ear training exercises went well, I think.

For my prepared piece, I played "Stop This Train" off the new John Mayer album. I played acoustic! *tries to make forumites proud* Then I played electric for all the other stuff.

I met a really amazing six string bass player from Ohio. He was great. And kind of cute :D. Too bad he lives in Ohio.

I dunno, Ellen. I think Trina there was just trying to drum up some up of that rare HC feminine cameraderie with some of that "girlfriend" speak. ;)

Agreed. Note the comma between "bass player" and "girl." The word "girl" was a reference to you, ya ninny! Now, if Ohio is too far, go out and find a cute bass player (or drummer or keyboard dude or whatever) a little closer to home. Oh, and BTW, best of luck.

Thanks DeepEnd for helping me out.

Exactly, but allow me to clarify: As for the cute bass player, Ellen, Ohio ain't that far away. ;):D Best of luck Ellen with fingers still crossed.
