Okay, my Guild GAD-40CE came with a clear pickguard on it (I bought it used). The new ones on the Guild site have a tortoise shell guard on them, and I think I like that better. I know I can get one from Guild. My question is, how do you get the old pickguard off without damaging the finish of the guitar? Any help would be great!

I taken sevaral pickguards off several guitars some a few years old and one was around 20 years old. Use a hair dryer and just take your time and it will come off. use some naptha to removel the old glue.:thu:
