Well, that CD includes a number of the best-known and most heralded flatpickers, notably: Bryan Sutton (formerly of Ricky Skaggs' Kentucky Thunder, but a virtuoso in his own right), Tim Stafford (Alison Kraus's original AKUS guitar player, before Dan Tyminski and Ron Block), and David Grier (a certified vituoso). Scott Nygaard is very good, but perhaps best known as editor of Acoustic Guitar magazine.

You should check out, at a minimum:

Doc Watson - the father of acoustic flatpicking; all of the above (and below) pay homage to Doc.
