Members d03nut Posted December 29, 2006 Members Posted December 29, 2006 It happens that after several days of "heavy playing" I become somewhat less "appreciative" (or sensitive) of my instrument/music. That's when I take a break from playing for a short period (up to a few days) just to refresh my aural palette. And I'm happy to say that the "bends" always justify the means. OTC: go lambacks
Members Cripes Posted December 29, 2006 Members Posted December 29, 2006 I have periods of what I call the "Stumble Fingers". Being a fingerstyle player 99.9% of the time, it seems I will sometimes miss strings in a piece inexplicably. I know it's just straying from proper technique (mine, that is) but quite irksome. "Hold your fork right, Johnny".

Today the OTC is "go lambacks", which is short for laminated B/S. That oughta explain it.

Members Whalebot Posted December 30, 2006 Members Posted December 30, 2006 I'm with the D03 on this one. I come back after an absence from the guitar and I fall in love all oer again.
