It used to be the domain of ultra cheap instruments, but recently I've been seeing more and more mismatches on medium/higher end guitars too. (eg. Martin, Taylor, Takamine, Breedlove, etc)

Thats runout. It happens. Esp in photo lighting where there are lights at different angles etc. But I agree, I HATE runout.
