Members streetknight Posted January 4, 2007 Members Posted January 4, 2007 What would be some good songs for a pretty much beginner like myself? I've been tinkering around with Pearl Jam's "Last Kiss" and Johnny Cash "Hurt" That might give you an idea of what style I like. I need something that will help me build my chord changing. I get so tired of just strumming with a metronome. TIA
Members Michael Martin Posted January 4, 2007 Members Posted January 4, 2007 I learned quick chord changes by playing "Gloria" over and over and over until people around me made me stop. Also "House of the Rising Sun".

Tambourine Man is the one I play most. But there's an array to choose from.
