Members guitarist21 Posted January 6, 2007 Members Posted January 6, 2007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2SwaGhpqNY I heard KT Tunstall's first big song "Black Horse and a Cherry Tree" on the radio and thought, hmm that's kind of a good song! Why would they play it on this radio station. So I looked her up and Youtube had a video of her doing a looping schtick with that song and I was slightly impressed. Then I heard the newer song "Suddenly I See" and it simply spoke to me as an incredibly well-crafted song with a great melody, a fantastic hook in the prechorus, and thorough and clear use of minor fourths and dominant sevenths chords. All this information made me think "Hey this is like a song I would write, except BETTER!" So I've listened to it a lot and really been upset that I didn't write it! This video is an acoustic show she did right here in Chicago for my favorite radio station at this awesome place called Schuba's. Ellen

Cheers! Eric
