Members d03nut Posted January 12, 2007 Members Posted January 12, 2007 Sorry for the accent, I meant "vows". Sometimes I think it'd be great to have a "purchasing vows" page slapped onto the the warranty page whenever you buy a guitar, especially to remind you of the "for better or for worse" line. It'll save you a lot of $$$. I can't tell you how many times I've been astounded by the sound of my guitar, a better tone unfathomable TME. But I also believe in "tonal nodes", or aural pleasure peaks or what have you. And "valleys". IOW, despite my best TLC & maintenance efforts, there'll be instances when I will question my "choices". That's when it's important to remember the "good" before you make a decision that you will regret later....
Members kwakatak Posted January 12, 2007 Members Posted January 12, 2007 The grass is greener on your "side of the grass" from where I'm standing. I usually get buyer's remorse before I commit to the purchase. It's like an internalized system of checks and balances (no pun intended). If that doesn't stop me from pulling the trigger, well then there's always the thought of my wife's disapproval of the whole thing.
Members Cldplytkmn Posted January 12, 2007 Members Posted January 12, 2007 peaks and valleys man... the essence of sound...

Even with my Epi (which looking back, was a total no-brainer) before I bought it I thought, "I'm about to spend a lot of the money I made the past couple of months" and I was worried. Ellen
