Members g6120 Posted January 12, 2007 Members Posted January 12, 2007 I am learning some new songs now rather than playing old ones from memory. This is my favorite song from Neil Young's new album Living With War. If you have not heard this album go get it. It is very powerful (the whole album). I wish I had 1/10th of Neil Young's fierce passion. I always record songs immediately after learning. I gave it my best for this acoustic version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb405obUdLM

Members g6120 Posted January 12, 2007 Author Members Posted January 12, 2007 Exactly! I had to do that so I could sing the song. The thing I find about my Martin is that as long as you play it aggressively and attack the strings it sounds beautiful. I find it to be perfect for the Neil Young style of almost hitting the strings.
