Members postie Posted January 1, 2007 Members Posted January 1, 2007 I was advised by The Lowden Guitar Co. to use Punch Leather Care on my O22c Lowden. Unfortunately it is no longer produced. As an alternative they suggest Dunlop 55. All I can find is Dunlop 65. I seem to be going round in circles! But I don't want to harm the finish on the guitar. Can anyone help please?Frank
Members Freeman Keller Posted January 2, 2007 Members Posted January 2, 2007 If you want to polish your satin finish to "semi gloss", it is done all the time (I did my T314). Here is the proceedure http://p082.ezboard.com/Buffing-Out-a-Satin-Finish/ftheunofficialmartinguitarforumfrm19.showMessage?topicID=35.topic

Members emmonsh Posted January 6, 2007 Members Posted January 6, 2007 if your looking to put polish on your satin guitar i beleave most manufactures recommend- smith pro formula polish. it works great on satin.[this is not to gloss satin finish]
Members dmn23 Posted January 14, 2007 Members Posted January 14, 2007 These guys sell Punch Leather Care. I ordered two cans about two years ago for my Lowden and I'm not even close to going through a can yet.

Members knockwood Posted January 14, 2007 Members Posted January 14, 2007 I think in Polish it is something like splatany lakier.
