Members Grindcore13 Posted January 20, 2007 Members Posted January 20, 2007 I have a couple of Martin acoustic guitars that I am trying to find out some info on. One is a Martin 4 string Tenor guitar from 1959 I believe and the other is a Martin small body 5-18 acoustic from 1956. Both are in fair to good condition. How do I find the value on these? I would like to sell them and know what to ask for them.

Having said all that this ain't the way to find out value. I'm just making it up. Call Gruen's Guitars in Nashville and ask them. That's the final word pretty much. the guesser

I think you're prices are a little high.

Still, I've never noticed them being particulary reflective of the market. Those prices are supposed to by derived from a poll of retailers. Yeah, right. They got no dog in the fight. Gruens is the only way I think. Or a long term study of Ebay prices paid.
