Members Terry Allan Hall Posted January 16, 2007 Members Posted January 16, 2007 Got a Seagull in the mail. What case should I get for it? SKB makes a decent one for the $$$.
Members T.B. Posted January 16, 2007 Members Posted January 16, 2007 Got a Seagull in the mail. What case should I get for it? In the past I've bought my cases off Ebay from Music Warehouse USA. In three years his cost have edge up a bit and shipping cost have doubled on some stuff, but he sales damn good quality cases. Depending on where you live in the country (shipping cost) his prices for a case are a steal. Check him out at: http://stores.ebay.com/Music-Warehouse-USA Trina
Members Freeman Keller Posted January 16, 2007 Members Posted January 16, 2007 I've bought TKL cases from MF for two gits and a mando and have been very pleased with the quality and fit. About 80 bucks.
Members Jessz1 Posted January 17, 2007 Members Posted January 17, 2007 TKL.... very nice. Elderly had some Martin cases, made by TKL, for 80 bucks if I remember right.
Members danger_boy_13 Posted January 22, 2007 Members Posted January 22, 2007 My friend has a Musician's Friend dreadnought hard case, it's pretty damn good for the money.

Members Brad Neal Posted January 22, 2007 Members Posted January 22, 2007 I just picked up one of these Gator's on Saturday for my travel guitar.http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product?full_sku=545987 It looks and feels every bit as sturdy as the $120 SKB and I only paid like $75 for it. -Brad
Members rjoxyz Posted January 22, 2007 Members Posted January 22, 2007 Here is another alternative from MF. I have one for travel (excluding airlines) when I don't want to lug a hard case. It protects about as well as most hardcases, but weighs little more than a gig bag. I see they are $10 less than I paid a year ago. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Musicians-Friend-Durafoam-ShockResistant-Dreadnought-Case?sku=540615

Members recordingtrack1 Posted January 23, 2007 Members Posted January 23, 2007 I just picked up the "musician's friend" case for my Les Paul. It is absolutely satisfactory for the money. It cost me somewhere around $40 and about $7 shipping. Got it in three days. RT1:thu:
Members danger_boy_13 Posted January 23, 2007 Members Posted January 23, 2007 I have been happy with the MF stuff. I don't have a hard case, but I have the deluxe gig bags for both my electric and acoustic, and they are well-padded and greate all-around bags.
