Members alowdon Posted January 23, 2007 Members Posted January 23, 2007 Hi, Can anyone suggest a good, nice sounding (preferably low actioned) electro acoustic for under
Members telelurker Posted January 23, 2007 Members Posted January 23, 2007 Yamaha are worth a look, they tend to be good value for money. You might find something in the APX or CPX series that suits. Crafter also offer a good range at modest prices. Both seem to be widely available in the UK.
Members Sky Blue Chaz Posted January 23, 2007 Members Posted January 23, 2007 hi andrew have a look at some of the tanglewood range of electro acoustics, great value guitars that have a very nice sound and the necks are pretty darn good too. good luck
Members AugTPD Posted January 23, 2007 Members Posted January 23, 2007 I just got a Seagull MJM6 mini-jumbo acoustic electric. I love it and I got it for $400 on Ebay. I made sure to check the seller out before I bid on it though. If you want one new they are around the $700 range.
Members DeepEnd Posted January 24, 2007 Members Posted January 24, 2007 Simon & Patrick and Seagull are both excellent choices. Both are made by the same company, Godin. You can also look at Alvarez, the Breedlove Atlas series, Epiphone Masterbilt, and Ibanez ArtWood (I play a non-electric one and they're seriously underrated). One of these should meet your needs.
Members pgcorky Posted January 24, 2007 Members Posted January 24, 2007 Are you thinking that you want new or are you okay shopping the used market. And I have to admit that I don't know your market in the UK - but I have a friend who's please with his Walden G730CE. Nice build quality and pretty good value - but I don't know if they're distributed in the UK. But take a look if so.
