Members polynices Posted January 28, 2007 Members Posted January 28, 2007 he needs shades, dreds, and a better sideways sway...kinda like what he does around the 3:40 time. seriously....amazing.
Members Hudman Posted January 28, 2007 Members Posted January 28, 2007 Pete has several instructional DVD's, although I never viewed one. Man, that was freaking awesome. That is the best guitar version of that tune I ever heard (including SRV's version).
Members ace1979 Posted January 28, 2007 Members Posted January 28, 2007 uhhhh. wow. so me playing that strumming chord version and fumbling my way through the main riff...not so cool That was absolutely amazing!!!! and humbling!
Members Stackabones Posted January 28, 2007 Members Posted January 28, 2007 I've seen that, and it's good every time. Wasn't he in John Denver's touring band?
Members guitarist21 Posted January 28, 2007 Members Posted January 28, 2007 His fingers are acting completely independent of each other to get the song. That's really awesome and I don't think I could do that anytime soon.

Members Dave W. Posted January 29, 2007 Members Posted January 29, 2007 Here he is playing Josie by Steely Dan.
Members LiveMusic Posted January 29, 2007 Members Posted January 29, 2007 What kind of guitar is he playing? Anyone know if he uses picks on all fingers or not? Yes, he has to have very long fingers. He's outstanding.
Members T.B. Posted January 30, 2007 Members Posted January 30, 2007 What kind of guitar is he playing? Anyone know if he uses picks on all fingers or not? Mr. Huttlinger plays a Collings OM1 with Sitka spruce top and mahogany back/sides, and a Collings OMA with an Adirondack spruce top. I think Huttlinger uses a thumb pick only. Trina
