epiphone aj-200 or yamaha fg-700

please forgive my noobness:cool: ....ive been playing now for about 6 months. ive got a really cheap Johnson acoustic and now its time to upgrade.

 

my budget is $200 and ive narrowed down my search to the epiphone aj-200 or yamaha fg-700, both solid tops although i would consider any other solid tops in my price range as well... please help me make a decision, im leaning towards the yamaha but have heard good things about the epiphone.

well afterr playing it at guitar center and reading all the good reviews i pulled the trigger and bought the yamaha FG700 from musiciansfriend.com.

 

can anyone else give me some feedback on FG700? how do u like it, fit/finish, etc...

The Yamaha 700 series are good guitars, played one, very nice neck and sound, come set up very well too!!!

cool, i appreciate the feedback and the welcome. it may be awhile before i see the guitar though, musicians friend has the guitar on backorder.

after being backordered for over 2 weeks my new guitar has finally been shipped. should be here waiting for me on my doorstep tomorrow when i get home from work...im stoked.
