It's a bit intimidating at first, but you'll get the hang of it--especially if you've already tied fishing knots. By the way, the Buster vid makes it pretty easy.

Members learn'r Posted February 19, 2007 Members Posted February 19, 2007 Good luck KATMAN. I just bought a set of strings to do my first restring .... but now I am learning (thus the name) maybe I should go get some high tension rather then the normals I have. Ehhh. Live and learn. By the way, had a guy at the music store tell me ball ends might be not so cool on the bridge. I have yet to get further info about that, so take it for what it is.
Members Cripes Posted February 19, 2007 Members Posted February 19, 2007 I have used both. Martin makes a ball-end set, too. I never heard of a ball end being bad for a bridge. Tied and ball ends both put the same tension/angle on the bridge so I can't figure out why anyone would say that about ball-ends.
Members KATMAN Posted February 19, 2007 Author Members Posted February 19, 2007 Better quality vid here. Wow,that makes it easier! Got it saved on my favorites so when the time comes I'll be ready. Thanks,Bro!
