Members learn'r Posted March 1, 2007 Members Posted March 1, 2007 depends of course. you might try and find a used Yamaha first, see if that's the way you want to go - then get a better one if your interests grow. I have a La Patty (LaPatrie) the Collection model and it is about as nice as you can get (IMHO) before taking the big plunge into high end. You may be a natural ..... but I'll tell you that a classical will humble a finger pickers quick fast and in a hurry - it will also help you perform better on your other guitars. Your fretting fingers gotta get up on their tips and your picking style will make or break the final sound like nothing you've encountered before.
