Members guitarist21 Posted March 5, 2007 Members Posted March 5, 2007 So I've been in San Antonio for a few days with my Symphonic Band. It was sweet. Best part: sitting outside a jazz club and being invited to sit in with them. I think they figured out I could play after they noticed me watching them for three hours. Love jazz. Sooo... what'd I miss? Ellen

Members bigby Posted March 6, 2007 Members Posted March 6, 2007 Welcome to central Texas; nice time of year to be in these parts. :-) If you're in to jazz, you may want to swing by Jim Cullen's Landing on the River Walk near the Hyatt. Jim's a legand in these parts.

Jim's a legand in these parts. That's where I played!! There band I played with was a little combo- just guitar and violin/mandolin. And the band before them was another little combo- just piano, trumpet, and snare/ride cymbal. Both were fantastic and I'm really glad I got to play. Ellen
