Members JasmineTea Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 I've heard Fay Wray played killer jew's harp. I also think emoticons have gotten a bit wierd as of late.
Members Cripes Posted March 9, 2007 Author Members Posted March 9, 2007 I like this one. Seems pretty symbolic of life. Not weird at all.
Members JasmineTea Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 Ok, so you need some new musical ideas, or what?
Members Cripes Posted March 9, 2007 Author Members Posted March 9, 2007 Naw. Music I got. My Mom passed away last Sunday. That makes 4 family members in less than a year. I'm burnt.
Members Hudman Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 Naw. Music I got. My Mom passed away last Sunday. That makes 4 family members in less than a year. I'm burnt. That sucks. My prayers go out to you and your family.
Members riffmeister Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 Naw. Music I got. My Mom passed away last Sunday. That makes 4 family members in less than a year. I'm burnt. ouch.....oh man, that's gotta be hard. I feel for ya.
Members Cripes Posted March 9, 2007 Author Members Posted March 9, 2007 Thanks all. I'm just a little weirded out right now. Didn't mean to monkey-wrench the mood here.
Members babablowfish Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 I am very sorry for your loss. Your grief will pass in time and you will still have the memories and you will carry your loved ones with you in your heart and in your mind.
Members brahmz118 Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 I'm sorry, Cripes. I hope music and other supports are able to help you through this in some way.
Members knockwood Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 I'm very sorry, Sweb. I've lost both my parents, and I still never know what to say to people who've lost a parent. It's one of the absolute worst things we ever go through. When I lost my mom, I was up and down - mostly down - for some time. It would just hit me tidal-wave style at completely unpredictable moments. I'd imagine you're dealing with that right about now. I can understand the sense of burnout, although I can't imagine what it feels like to have a year like that. If there's any hint of a bright side, maybe this unbelievably {censored}ty year has used up all your bad luck for a while to come... I hope so, anyway.
Members bigby Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 Sorry man; that really sucks. I'm sure everyone in here would agree that it's totally cool to use this forum to vent or lean on fellow forumites...
Members GrandStation76 Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 Thanks all. I'm just a little weirded out right now. Didn't mean to monkey-wrench the mood here. Sorry to here about your loss. No "monkey wrench". Talking about (even typing about) situations like your having now, helps along the healing process, much better than ignoring it. Time heals all. Good luck, go play a 000-28EC that might cheer you up.
Members denvertrakker Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 Sorry for your loss, Sweb. Many years down the road, I still miss my Dad.
Members STEELSTRINGS Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 I'm sorry for your loss. My mother passed away last March. I still think about her alot. You'll never forget about your mom but you will heal. Ask God in Jesus name and He will give you peace that surpasses all understanding.
Members Dave W. Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 Sweb, My condolences on your loss. We are friends here, and as long as you don't mind telling us, it is better that we know you are hurting.
Members bsman Posted March 9, 2007 Members Posted March 9, 2007 This may sound trite, but I find that during times of stress and depression I write most of my best words. Taking pen to paper (well, finger to laptop) is something I've found helps me through hard times.
