Members Plundrik Posted March 11, 2007 Author Members Posted March 11, 2007 Wow, thanks guys! I really appreciate it My first attept at an acoustic guitar piece I meant.. I played the piano for some years until my carpal tunnelish wrists stopped me. Playing guitar feel good though..
Members codecontra Posted March 11, 2007 Members Posted March 11, 2007 very nice. what did you use to record it?
Members VengefulTikiGod Posted March 11, 2007 Members Posted March 11, 2007 Very nice--one little thing, I would have the winds come in just a tad softer than they do when they first come in, they kinda startled me Otherwise really pretty arrangement with the winds, tasteful percussion, nice key change near the end. I like the other ones on your page too. How did you learn to compose? Have you taken composition classes or is this just what you've come up on your own? What program did you use to get those midi instruments? I'd love to do some composing sometime in the future. I took an introductory composition class once and have some short, simple compositions from that, but not much else.
Members Plundrik Posted March 11, 2007 Author Members Posted March 11, 2007 Thanks! It's recorded with an studio projects C1 and Cakewalk Sonar. The mic is really not suited for an acoustic (too much boom), but it's the only one I have. The guitar is an Tanglewood TW1000.

I know nothing of composition or theory, I just fool around until something sounds nice to me. The piece is recorded in Cakewalk Sonar and the mellotron flute is from my Roland XV-88. Thanks again for the input!
