Members Hamhand Posted March 14, 2007 Members Posted March 14, 2007 In a past life, I purchased the original 1982, and then the 1985 Collector edition Ovations. Since I don't hear much gas for those, should I trade 'em in or just leave 'em in the closet forever? They actually play pretty good but I'm interested in a D-55 Guild. It actually sounds better to me than the Martin I was eyeballin'. Anyway, I digress, should I wait on the O's until they're so rare someone will have to buy the darn things?
Members FingerBone Bill Posted March 14, 2007 Members Posted March 14, 2007 Most people just take 'em out to a quiet spot after dark and just bury them. Make sure nobody sees you.
Members pgcorky Posted March 14, 2007 Members Posted March 14, 2007 There's always a market! My son has a friend who plays up a storm on anything - and made his Ovation sound great. Now my young man wants one...
Members T0MCAT Posted March 14, 2007 Members Posted March 14, 2007 Try the Ovation Fan Club, they're an online Ovation forum. I have an O, I like it, but one is enough for now.
