Members riffmeister Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 you mean a steel string guitar with a body the size of a classical guitar? try Lowden S series. .
Members johbren Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 Yep seagull folk exactly the same size as my Lucida lg 777 classical
Members AugTPD Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 The seagull would be a great choice. They actually say that their folk body is based off of a classical guitar. It also had a pretty wide nut width similar to a classical at 1.8".
Members Freeman Keller Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 I bought an 00 sized case for my classical. Fit perfectly. If you want a steel string that is classical sized it would be a double ought. As you know, classicals have 2 inch necks, most steel strings are 1-11/16 to 1-3/4.

Members jerime Posted March 21, 2007 Members Posted March 21, 2007 How does the Yamaha FG-75 play? I've heard they make good blues guitars.
Members T.B. Posted March 21, 2007 Members Posted March 21, 2007 How does the Yamaha FG-75 play? I've heard they make good blues guitars. Yea they are... the FG-75 has a warm tone and is well balanced. Surprisingly loud for its size. Harmonics ring loud and clear. It's a great finger-style instrument. Those old FG's have chunky necks and the fretboard or narrow. What type of strings you put on this git make a BIG difference. Sadly, my Yam action is a bit high so I've change to Silk & Steel strings to make it more playable/comfortable. It's made her sound a bit thin but that's ok. Trina
