Members DonK Posted April 3, 2007 Members Posted April 3, 2007 I love this: it even has "individual" tuners. As opposed to one big tuner I guess. http://cgi.ebay.com/41-Full-Size-Natural-Acoustic-Guitar-Set-Guitars_W0QQitemZ330105370348QQcategoryZ2385QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Members guitarist21 Posted April 3, 2007 Members Posted April 3, 2007 Comes with an instruction manual. Ellen
Members knockwood Posted April 3, 2007 Members Posted April 3, 2007 "Lefty" might have been a nice addition to the description, lest some noob righty should fall victim to an itchy "Buy It Now" finger.

Oh man, I must have one...
Members rjoxyz Posted April 3, 2007 Members Posted April 3, 2007 Couldn't help but notice the description does not specify "left handed". Look at the picture. Someone could end up looking like a reverse-McCartney. I always kinda wanted one of those 41" guitars.

That bridge is terrifying. I love where the description says, simply, "Back & Sides." Good to know these are included.

The sound was a bit too boxy and the volume was too low. So they replaced the square hole with a round hole and added sides and a back. HUGE improvement.

Oh yeah, garage sale signs....
Members babablowfish Posted April 3, 2007 Members Posted April 3, 2007 I was noodling around in Daddy's Junky Music this weekend and they had a couple of used Esteban's for sale. They had the same kind of finish as that lovely Melody - a kind of indeterminate brown paint/stain that totally obscured any sign of what lay beneath. Coulda been made out of masonite for all I know. Just hadda pick one up and try it out. Needless to say the finish was not the only problem. Boy, I can't remember when I held a guitar that just felt so wrong - and I am not just talking about the 1/4" minimum action at the 12th fret. The point is, I suppose, that although we are indeed living in "the golden age of guitars" there is still a hell of a lot of crap out there. Hope this wasn't a thread hijack.
