Members Misha_yeah! Posted April 7, 2007 Author Members Posted April 7, 2007 Hi Knockwood! The cats and the Misha are in great shape!!!
Members Hudman Posted April 7, 2007 Members Posted April 7, 2007 Harmony Central calls this an "upgrade". The forum has been running terrible since they switched software. You still playing that Cort?
Members Misha_yeah! Posted April 7, 2007 Author Members Posted April 7, 2007 Hi JT, Hi Hudman! The Cort and I are still closed friends! I love it and won't ever sell it! First time I buy something and continue loving it after one year! It still feels a lot better than most other acoustic guitar I try!
Members kwakatak Posted April 7, 2007 Members Posted April 7, 2007 Hey, Misha! How's the playing coming along?
Members d03nut Posted April 7, 2007 Members Posted April 7, 2007 The more things change...... Good to have you back......
Members Misha_yeah! Posted April 7, 2007 Author Members Posted April 7, 2007 Hi Do3nut! Hi Kwak! The Larivee is doing fine??? I've had to stop playing for a little while... I mean, I was playing just a little bit because of hypothyroidia. It's under control now! I was always tired. Was barely able to go to work. Had to rest most of my spare time... After a few months of threatment, I'm in much better shape! It was about time! I did not really learn new things... but I'm a little bit faster on the fretboard, maybe! Since last week, I can't put my guitar down... Need to change my mind! edit... JT: why are you so far??? Come here in Canada!

After a few months of threatment, I'm in much better shape! It was about time! The Larri's fine but not getting a lot of play time lately. We had another baby boy recently and I've played it for him to help him get to sleep on a couple of occasions. BTW - my mom and mother-in-law both have hypoactive thyroids. My mom was off her meds for a year because she moved and didn't bother to look for a new doctor. It was shocking how much she would sleep when she came to visit so I talked her into finding a doctor. Now she's back on some sort holistic medication for it and she seems to be a bit more spry.
Members Misha_yeah! Posted April 7, 2007 Author Members Posted April 7, 2007 Hey Kwak, Congrats for the new baby boy!!!! I don't know if I say it right when I say "hypothyroidia", but I meant hypoactive thyroid, just like you said and yes, it's crazy how it could make me sleep all the time! Glad to know that your mom is feeling better! Actually, it is a hereditary disease. My mom, sister and brother are just like me, so it was not a surprise. I knew it would come some day! Without the medication, I felt like i'd need to connect myself to the 120 V a.c. in the house, everyday, to allow me to start the day!
