I saw a magazine review of one recently, but I can't remember where.

 

It strikes me as one of those things that's trying to be different just for the sake of being different. Kind of like the Parker acoustic. If it was the holy grail of tone or something, then I might feel differently, but as it is, I just think it's butt-ugly.

Saw a bunch of them at one booth at the Dallas Guitar Show. Didn't play 'em--no reason to try any acoustic in that big hall o' screaming electric blues riffs.

That was me that posted the thread about these strange guitars. I still think they look funny. I'd be very interested to actually hear one though.

Played one last Sunday at the Dallas Guitar Show, presumably at the same booth Stack mentioned...not much sound unplugged, decent sound amplified, surprisingly comfortable to play.

 

Still, it looks like a lima bean...

 

And, as Brother Stack mentioned, as usual the place was infested with SRV-wannabees...otoh, I got a chance to jam for a few minutes w/ a REAL blues cat a bit later.
