Anybody know a reputable dealer that has one in stock with a decent return policy? I was hoping to try one before the trial period on the Epi I bought runs out but cant find one anywhere.

I know that Reno's Music in West Carmel, Indiana, has one--I played it yesterday. Reno's does business online as Guitar Hotline; as of now, though, their website only shows Fender products. You might give them a call--there's a toll-free number on the website (though I think it's for the Fishers store, and the one I played was at the West Carmel store).

I would call Instrument Pro and see if they have them in stock. It can save you apprx. $35.00.

Instrument Pro has a 5% discount code availble. You can use the following discount code:
AFF01
during checkout.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but does Instrument Pro carry Guild? There are no Guild products on their website. Of course, the same could be said of Reno's, which I mentioned above--and I know they do have them, because I played one yesterday.

If you click on "Availability," MF shows the natural finish as out of stock, with more expected in 47 days. The other two finishes are in stock.

I bought my Guild GAD 30R from Instrument Pro a few weeks ago. It looks like they stopped carrying Guild.

Hud, I left my name/number with Ins Pro but haven't heard back yet. They seem to have the best price if they're still available.

Jeff, what was the price at the place you were in? How was the setup, sound, etc on the one you tried?

Bernie, they were asking $599 (they're running a Guild sale in the store right now). Setup was very nice--I've read about some GAD30s feeling stiff, but this one didn't. It was good enough that I was seriously tempted. By comparison, the previous GAD30 I played, at another store, didn't tempt me at all.

If you can stand a burst finish, The Music Zoo on Long Island is having a spring blowout sale this week, and they have one at a VERY good price (I don't think I'm supposed to mention what it is, but you can email them at sales@themusiczoo.com for their sale pricelist).

$599 is a great price. I paid $667 for my GAD 30R a few weeks ago.

Mine plays and sounds great.

I actually chose the antique burst over natural.

Interesting; I picked the antique burst over the natural, too, for my GAD 50. thought the natural was too white.
