Recommend pickup with volume control

I'm looking for a pickup with volume control for a Larrivee D-03R.

 

Suggestions?

 

K&K Ultrapure Western Mini

LR Baggs (M1, I-Beam Active, iMix, Element Active)

Others?

Has anyone tried the in-line volume controls? Looks like I could get the K&K Pure Western Mini and one of these. I only wonder about signal degredation.

I've been thinking about a Schatten for one of my guitars. Mounts inside the guitar with a putty (or you can glue). You only need to drill for the endpin jack. I'll probably get the passive and then a Baggs (or the Shatten DI) for the preamp.

 

Here's the Black Box that you could use with the passive pup for a volume control. Though I'm not sure if it's overkill to have the Black Box volume and a preamp DI volume.

 

Very intrigued with this system. Listened to some of the clips. Sounds great. No piezo quack, very natural sound.

K&K Pure Western Mini does not have preamp DI volume.
