Strings: dull & lifeless

My (gulp) voice: "semi-mute"

Points I make: usually moot

Action: suddenly too high, no satisfaction

My guitar: still one-buttoned

Strapless (and hapless), I can't even "offend" anybody

All in all, not the best "musical" weekend that I've had

 

That is, until I found me 3 perfectly new Dunlop 0.73mm Tortex (?) picks (the yellow ones) in the back pocket of an older pair of jeans of mine. I love these picks. Even when brand new, they don't have that "pointy-ness" of some of the other ones that I've tried, which can make my guitar sound kind of tinny initially.

 

Small outlays of income can result in big outcomes.

 

My discovery saves me a trip to the music store, which as we all know is a "GAS-station". I can't afford "gas" right now. Plus I want to try to be more "green".

 

Ahhh, that fresh "powder-y" feel. I'm home.
