Anyone play one? Own one? Have thoughts about them?

No, I haven't. I think Ian is almost God, but he does whore out his name. It's probably based on the Martin New Yorker, which he used to record many of his earlier songs (Aqualung, Life's a long song etc.) up until recently he swore by a small guitar by a British guy named Manson. I guess if Martin offered me my own line I'd sell out too!

Ok, I guess "whoring" was a bit over the top. You're right, at least he did use a Martin at sometime in his career. I mean, if Jack Bauer can have his own guitar...

Martin also put out a "Babyface" model...talk about whoring!

If you can find one, buy it. There were 87 made. They are designed for nylon or steel strings, have a wonderful voice and are pretty sought after by collectors.
