Members babablowfish Posted May 17, 2007 Members Posted May 17, 2007 It certainly doesn't appeal to me. However, I wonder how it sounds and if it is really playable?
Members denvertrakker Posted May 17, 2007 Members Posted May 17, 2007 Hmmmmm... Been a member for two years, with zero feedback? "This item is not covered by buyer protection on eBay" Caveat emptor certainly fits the bill here...
Members Freeman Keller Posted May 17, 2007 Members Posted May 17, 2007 it says its a portable guitar design in which you separate the neck bolts to take apart the neck and body.yeahyou can do that with any guitar with a bolt on neckebay -_- Not quite true. Most acoustic guitars with "bolt on" necks have the fingerboard extension glued to the top. The new Taylor NT neck (not the original one) has no glue and the extension is also bolted from below (inside the body) - both the heel and extension have little laser cut shims to set the angle. You could theoretically remove it, but it would be a huge hassle. There have been a few guitars built with necks that are designed to be removed - this one bolts thru the body from the back. Not a bad idea for travel, might be a little funky from a structural standpoint.
Members Bernie P. Posted May 18, 2007 Members Posted May 18, 2007 Well it's GOT to sound better than the two travel git's I tried yesterday. One was the Rover and the other was a rectangular job I don't recall the name of.They both sounded awful.I guess you cant expect much from such small bodies but I could never get any enjoyment out of playing something that sounds that bad.Definitely not for me.
