Hello In There - a John Prine classic that is truly a beautiful song

This is my first time playing it fingerstyle.

 

I played my first coffeehouse open mic last Friday and this was one of the songs I played. I stole a Neil Young line when I introduced the song, I said OK folks "here's a song that's guaranteed to bring you right down" then I said "but it's a beautiful song and I love it so I'm gonna play it for you". Played it fingerstyle for the second time at the open mic.

 

Played 4 songs that night and got a great reaction on all form the audience!
