Members DonK Posted July 11, 2007 Members Posted July 11, 2007 I can half-understand $50k (or more) for a vintage instrument, even if just for the collector's value, but $50K for a new one? I don't get it.

Members D For Kate Posted July 11, 2007 Members Posted July 11, 2007 a $50k item and no pics? what a deal breaker...
Members Terry Allan Hall Posted July 11, 2007 Members Posted July 11, 2007 Kinda fancy looking... Me, I'd rather have this Gibson, if I was inclined towards "fancy" ()"
Members whit townsend Posted July 11, 2007 Members Posted July 11, 2007 A publicity item is all.Purely for press consumtion. "Look what we did to honor MR. Earl Scruggs""this is so expensive you can't afford it, aint we special".If they have actually sold one, much less for anything remotely approaching $50,000, I would be suprised. In fact I doubt there's more than 1 or 2 in existance.
