Members Majai Posted July 18, 2007 Members Posted July 18, 2007 Sorry to drop in on your forum and start asking annoying questions. I figured some of you acoustic players probably own an AC-60 and if you own an Electric you might have plugged it in just for {censored}s and giggles. If so, how did it sound? Similar to plugging an electric straight into a PA? I'm thinking about picking up an AC-60 to use as a sort of mini PA. I have played several acoustics through an AC-60 at various Guitar shops but never played an electric through one. Any thoughts?
Members OldGuitarPlayer Posted July 18, 2007 Members Posted July 18, 2007 Ok...well..I have never seen a Roland AC60 let alone played an electric guitar through one but...I have seen an electric played through a small Trace Elliott acoustic amplifier. I used to do sound for a company and a couple of times I worked with a group who's only guitarist would use this Trace Elliott amp with his Tele & Strat through a pedal board as his live rig. He seemed to like it. It sounded ok to me and it was small and compact although I do seem to remember it being quite heavy for such a small amp. OGP
