My first video...please be kind

Here is my first attempt at this video thing. It's the old Muddy Waters Classic.

This was recorded early this morning using a Minolta Dimage E50 in one take.

Guitar: Early 70's Yamaki AY270S

Vocals: me

some growling slide work there. Your timing is so fine. Intonation is hard with slide but sounds to me like you are right there.

That one was recorded with the cam set at the highest resolution setting and the microphone is really sensitive to the guitar and not so much my voice.

 

Here is a newer clip done at the lowest setting and then converted to .wmv format so it should load faster this time. The downside is the terrible sound. It did not sound that bad before I converted it to .wmv format and uploaded it to the web.

That was absolutely awesome! The first link would not work for me. Tried several times but it just froze my browser. Glad you posted the second link because that did work fine with no buffereing stalls.

 

Now you're gonna have to get a real DV camcorder and a stereo mic (see my other post on video recording for what I use) Your playing and singing is so good and the proper video camera and mic setup would do it justice.

Also, have you considered YouTube? It's free and very easy + stuff like this would be a huge hit there. I, for one, would be your first subscriber and fan!

Thanks for the nice comments and helpful tips. When I uploaded the first tune I did so before without coverting it to a smaller .wmv file. These load up easier and faster for the person viewing it. I will convert the first one and try and re-post it later.

 

I have just uploaded the 2nd video to my YouTube channel which is TClark62.

I just joined YouTube today.

 

I will upload more videos...it is fun.

Thanks for watching...I know the vocals kind of suck. I think the microphone is really sensitive to the guitar and not so much my voice. I am actually not playing all that hard and yet the guitar drowns out my voice...which really is a good thing:freak:
