Members g6120 Posted August 15, 2007 Members Posted August 15, 2007 I just uploaded a stereo remix of Pocahontas with addedbackground vocals. This was one of those times when the song just grabbed me and took holdand I got lost in feeling the song. Such a powerful song about the pastand present injustices toward the american indians. It's really hardnot to cry when singing "They killed us in our teepees, and they cutour women down, they might have left some babies cryin' on the ground"because we all know that that stuff really did happen and it's horrible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jfHHGyTUqI
Members MattSkibaIsGOD Posted August 15, 2007 Members Posted August 15, 2007 hot damn Gil. You are really something. I think this is the best one you've posted yet. The stereo mix and the background vocals made this so enjoyable.
Members kwakatak Posted August 15, 2007 Members Posted August 15, 2007 Good job, Gil. I like those backing vox and that stereo effect a lot!

Members g6120 Posted August 15, 2007 Author Members Posted August 15, 2007 Thanks so much guys. One persong has given me feedback that the ))stereo(( version has a double echo that distracts from the song. I'm not hearing that in my headphones. Is anyone else getting that? Sounds good to me audio-wise.
