HEy all. Has anyone owned or played one of these? The lower level 00 size is what I'm looking at. Seem interesting and they have bone nuts and saddles...seem goof and a little cheaper than the Blueridge (highly underrated) that I was looking at. Thoughts?

It has been several months back, so I am going from my memory. . . ok?

I have played a couple of dreads at a local music store in my area. I remember being impressed with both of them, especially a rosewood/spruce. I'm sorry I don't remember the model numbers. This particular store also sells Blueridge guitars and I personally felt the MM's were nicer than the Blueridges, but only by a slight margin. Very good bass response, good mids and a bit lacking in the top-end, if I had to judge. They were well braced and solid. It seems like I remember a thick poly finish and they were heavier than the Blueridge(s). I also want to say they had V necks, which I do not prefer.

That's about all I can really say, except that for somewhere around the $400-500 price range, I thought they were pretty decent and probably worth it.

I know that doesn't help much but it's the best I can do.

I've had my M-00-TBV for a couple of weeks now, and I'm really enjoying it. It has a good balanced tone, and the V neck is like buttah.
