Members happy-man Posted August 19, 2007 Members Posted August 19, 2007 Another good reason to like acoustic guitars. Scott O
Members Cripes Posted August 19, 2007 Members Posted August 19, 2007 There's a reason in there somewhere explaining why it's a one-of-a-kind.
Members AugTPD Posted August 20, 2007 Members Posted August 20, 2007 oh dear. I don't think he made that, he stole it from Prince's guitar collection.
Members riffmeister Posted August 20, 2007 Members Posted August 20, 2007 I think it's the long-lost child of this beastie:
Members T.B. Posted August 20, 2007 Members Posted August 20, 2007 I think Riff onto something here: That ain't no gee-tar, that's a fossilized crustacean with strings! Trina
Members Krash Posted August 20, 2007 Members Posted August 20, 2007 They say there's no such thing as an ugly baby. Used to think the same thing about guitars. Not any more.
Members guitarist21 Posted August 20, 2007 Members Posted August 20, 2007 HORROR OF HORRORS!! A BOLT-ON NECK! ...oh and its ugly. Ellen
Members Stackabones Posted August 20, 2007 Members Posted August 20, 2007 To paraphrase Proust, Let's leave the pretty guitars for folks without imagination. Laissons les jolies femmes aux hommes sans imagination.

Members Terry Allan Hall Posted August 20, 2007 Members Posted August 20, 2007 I'm thinking the chemicals the luthier injested prior to designing this monstrocity weren't the very freshest OR of pharmaceutical quality... still, it's currently at $9.99...I've put it on "watch" and just might bid on it if it doesn't go over, say, $19.99... I do an occasional classical piece at my gigs and this would be fun to pull out for such usage!
Members lauren Posted August 20, 2007 Members Posted August 20, 2007 It even has a reserve on it...don't get too carried away:lol: I'm thinking the chemicals the luthier injested prior to designing this monstrocity weren't the very freshest OR of pharmaceutical quality... still, it's currently at $9.99...I've put it on "watch" and just might bid on it if it doesn't go over, say, $19.99... Members DonK Posted August 24, 2007 Members Posted August 24, 2007 Looks like something Prince would play.
Members Greymuzzle Posted August 24, 2007 Members Posted August 24, 2007 Ok. Because I'm such a nosy being I had to follow the link to see what other wondrous wares this seller has. Now I think I understand more why this instrument (of music or torture?) looks as though it was built by a one handed person looking in a different direction. another mystery solved by the man in the trench coat and hat; and y'all thought it was just an avatar
