amplified sound

i play my crafter gae 33 through a vox valvetronix 30 watt amp when i feel the need to amplify the sound, i usually use the ac 15 amp setting and it really sounds fine; but am i wrong? should i have an acoustic amp? i do like to use a little gain sometimes, so i'm not a total purist on sound.

any thoughts.

If you like it that's fine - if you can set the controls to get the sound you want, why bother with another amp?

Gotta agree w/ garthdude...if you like that amp, then that's the amp for you!

 

Me, I like a more "pristine" sound, but then I can kick on my pedal board to add a little raunch when I need some.
