Members steve_epi Posted September 5, 2007 Members Posted September 5, 2007 i play my crafter gae 33 through a vox valvetronix 30 watt amp when i feel the need to amplify the sound, i usually use the ac 15 amp setting and it really sounds fine; but am i wrong? should i have an acoustic amp? i do like to use a little gain sometimes, so i'm not a total purist on sound.any thoughts.steve.

If you like it that's fine - if you can set the controls to get the sound you want, why bother with another amp?
Members Terry Allan Hall Posted September 5, 2007 Members Posted September 5, 2007 Gotta agree w/ garthdude...if you like that amp, then that's the amp for you! Me, I like a more "pristine" sound, but then I can kick on my pedal board to add a little raunch when I need some. It's all good!
