Members Simon76 Posted September 14, 2007 Members Posted September 14, 2007 http://www.gibson.com/en%2Dus/Lifestyle/Features/Introducing%20Powertune%5F%20Gibson%5F/ I know Gibson has builtin tuners on some acoustic models like the Songwriter Deluxe. Maybe they will even offer this auto tuner on some acoustic models. A twelve string version of it would be an awsome idea.
Members jd-drafter Posted September 14, 2007 Members Posted September 14, 2007 pretty slick- will this be in gibson acoustic's as well? how long until a stand alone system? just a matter of time- definitely cool-
Members Bernie P. Posted September 14, 2007 Members Posted September 14, 2007 I got a feeling thats going to be a very pricey option.Pretty slick though.
Members guitarist21 Posted September 14, 2007 Members Posted September 14, 2007 That's crazy!! Way to go, Gibson! Ellen
Members Terry Allan Hall Posted September 15, 2007 Members Posted September 15, 2007 Wow...leave it to Gibson to conceive of such a silly idea and not recognize just how silly it is (remember that there's such things as Murphey's Laws*)! *Murphy's Laws If anything can go wrong, it will. If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the first one to go wrong. If anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway. If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which something can go wrong, and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop. Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse. If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something. Nature always sides with the hidden flaw. Mother nature is a bitch. Think I'll pass...
Members Cripes Posted September 15, 2007 Members Posted September 15, 2007 I'm all for progress. But, I still buy unsliced bread.
